If you’ve already binge-watched Netflix’s Castlevania animated series, we’ve got good news for you! Because Netflix has revealed that they are renewing the video game-based anime for a second season.
And there’s some even more good news as Netflix is also increasing the number of episodes for the second season. This means that Castlevania Season 2 will now have eight episodes. So far, they still haven’t revealed more information about this new Castlevania series, so stay tuned for more announcements.
They based the first season of the anime’s story on Konami’s Castlevania 3 video game. It follows the last surviving member of the disgraced Belmont clan, trying to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hand of Vlad Dracula Tepes himself. Powerhouse Animation provided the animation, while Adi Shankar served as one of the producers. Netflix is currently streaming its first season, with all episodes already released.
