After Persona 4 The Animation and Persona 4 The Golden Animation, we could all see Persona 5 getting its own TV anime. Well, looks like a lot of us were right all along! This is because the official Persona 5 twitter pageΒ has revealed that it’s also getting a TV anime.

The new announcement also revealed that the A-1 Pictures will be animating it with Atlus. And they also revealed that we will be seeing this anime on air sometime in 2018! That’s not too long, so better start replaying, or play the game to avoid some anime spoilers.

The staff also revealed a brand new PV, which introduces us to the cast, as well as their seiyuu:

  • Jun Fukuyama as the protagonist
  • Mamoru Miyano as Ryuji Sakamoto
  • Ikue Otani as Morgana
  • Nana Mizuki as Anne Takamaki
  • Tomokazu Sugita as Yusuke Kitagawa
  • Rina Satou as Makoto Niijima
  • Aoi Yuuki as Futaba Sakura
  • Haruka Tomatsu as Haru Okumura
  • Souichiro Hoshi as Goro Akechi

Pretty much, the cast from the hit RPG is returning for the TV anime, with the addition of Jun Fukuyama of course. However, they didn’t reveal any further details, so stay tuned here at WOW Japan for more Persona 5 anime announcements.
