Animegane is a new eyeglass specialty store that is slated to open this weekend in Akihabara. As the name implies, it will sell eyewear with designs inspired by and in collaboration with popular anime, manga, and game series.
The Animegane website currently has a line up of six featured titles, including the likes of Girls & Panzer, Fate Stay Night, Touhou Project, and Precure! They have also previously worked on project with Macross Frontier and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
Since most anime fans have basically ruined their eyesight with late night TV and mobile gaming, it looks like Animegane has a captive market already in place! If you fancy having your next set of specs be something special, Animegane is located at 1F Saison Akihabara Building, 4-8-3 Soto Kanda, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan 101-0021.
