Nobuhiro Watsuki’s Rurouni Kenshin Hokkaido Arc is set to start in October 2017, with the release of Jump Square October edition on 4th September 2017. The original Rurouni Kenshin manga ran from 1994 to 1999 and spanned 28 volumes. It also spawned a huge multimedia franchise that included a TV anime series, movies, games, and light novels. It tells the story of Kenshin Humura, a wandering swordsman seeking to atone for the sins he committed as an assassin during Japan’s Bakumatsu period.
