The Japanese online messaging site 2ch can be brutal. In fact, upcoming anime, Inuyashiki is aiming to capture that brutality by looking for people to voice online trolls in 2ch. Specifically, they are looking for seiyuu to voice “2channelers” or the denizens lurking in 2ch.

The anime teamed up with part-time job search website, An, just for this reason. The applicants must be 2channelers themselves. And this is also important, as applicants MUST HAVE AN INTEREST IN TROLLING. Those chosen will work as a part-time seiyuu and earn 50,000 yen plus travel expenses. They will also get credited for their voice work, as well as get signed merchandise from the voice cast. But yeah, you really have to be a denizen of 2ch and be an actual online troll.

Online applications have already opened, and will only be available until 23rd August. Those chosen will voice 2channelers in the anime, with recording to start in early September.

Gantz creator, Hiroya Oku created Inuyashiki, with MAPPA doing its anime adaptation. Tiger & Bunny’s Keiichi Satou will be acting as chief director, while Shuhei Yanuta is directing it. The anime will make its premiere in October 2017, which means that it’s part of the autumn 2017 anime season.
