The big one is here! C3 AFA Singapore 2017 is coming at you from the 24th to the 27th of November 2017 from the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre in sunny Singapore! Bigger, better, bolder than ever — expect only the best from the massive exhibition hall all the way to its star-studded cosplay line-up, and of course its legendary I Love Anisong concert series!

Let’s cut to the chase with the first wave of artistes for the 2017 edition of South East Asia’s biggest anisong concert series: I Love Anisong! It’s a fantastic mix of new faces and forever favourites — so put your hands together for: ClariS, FLOW, fripSide, Luce Twinnkle Wink, May’n, and Shiena Nishizawa!

ClariS

For the first time ever, ClariS will be performing overseas at C3 AFA Singapore 2017 I Love Anisong concert!

ClariS is a pop music duo formed in Hokkaido in 2009, by junior high students Clara and Alice. When Alice decided to leave the group to pursue her studies in 2014, she was succeeded by Karen — who to this day remains as the other half of ClariS alongside Clara.

Despite their youth, they are one of the biggest anisong groups in Japan, with certified Platinum and Gold albums. They have sung the theme songs of such hit anime as Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Nisemonogatari, Ore no Imōto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai, and Eromanga Sensei.

FLOW

Celebrating their 15th anniversary as a group, FLOW returns to the I Love Anisong stage!

FLOW first frmed in 1998, and went through a few changes in their line up before they made their major debut in 2003. Composed of KOHSHI(Vo), KEIGO(Vo), TAKE(Gt), GOT’S(Ba), and IWASAKI(Dr), they are best known for their seamless blend of rock, pop, and hip-hop that is full of fun and energy!

FLOW is also responsible for some of the most iconic anisong anthems in recent history, such as “GO!!!” and “Re:member” from Naruto, “Days” from Eureka Seven, “Colors” from Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, and many others. To celebrate the band’s 15th anniversary, they also released a special mini album entitled “Fighting Dreamers.”

fripSide

fripSide makes a triumphant return to Singapore with the 2017 edition of the I Love Anisong Concert!

fripSide is a Japanese trance duo formed in 2002, with its current line-up of Satoshi Yaginuma and Yoshino Nanjo having formed their partnership in 2009, after the departure of vocalist Nao. In an interview Sat admitted that he was a huge fan of Japanese musician and producer Tetsuya Komuro, and it was a dream come true to work with him on one of fripSide’s singles.

fripSide is has a longstanding collaborative partnership with the series “A Certain Scientific Railgun”, providing its theme songs such as Only My Railgun, Level 5 Judgelight, Future Gazer, Way to Answer, Sister’s Noise, and Eternal Reality.

Luce Twinkle Wink☆

The bright and bubbly Luce Twinkle Wink☆ make their I Love Ansong debut at C3 AFA Singapore 2017!

Composed of Megumi Nishikiori, Kaho Higaki, Yukino Usami, Saori Itayama, and Saki Fukasawai, Luce Twinkle Wink☆ made their major debut in 2014. Luce Twinkle Wink☆ has sung the theme songs of To LOVE RU, And You Thought There Is Never a Girl Online?, Urara Meirocho, and GAMERS!.

May’n

Much-beloved by South East Asian fans since her first appearance at C3 AFA Singapore, May’n is back for another rocking performance at I Love Anisong!

Already a five-year veteran on the pop music scene at the tender age of 18, she sky-rocketed to fame as the singing voice of Macross Frontier’s Galaxy Fairy Sheryl Nome. She went on to create more hit songs for “Aria the Scarlet Ammo”, “Accel World”, and “Aquarion Logos”.

Her latest single entitled “One in a Billion” is a collaboration with the girl group Wake Up, Girls!, and is the theme for “Isekai Shokudou” — an anime about a restaurant that is also a portal to another world. May’n will also be releasing her fifth studio album entitled “PEACE of SMILE” on the 18th of October 2017.

Shiena Nishizawa

Also making her C3 AFA Singapore debut, put your hands together for the talented young rocker Shiena Nishizawa!

Shiena Nishizawa isn’t just another pretty face on the Japanese pop music scene. In junior high, she learned the guitar from her father, and she has been playing ever since. In 2014 while still in high school, she won the penultimate Grand Prix prize in the first FlyingDog Audition.

Shiena Nishizawa’s debut single “Fubuki” was the ending theme of the TV anime adaptation of the online game Kantai Collection. Her double sided single “Brand-new World / Piacere” were featured in “The Asterisk War”and “Aria the Avvenire”. Her latest single “Gray Blaze” will be featured in the highly popular RPG “Arado Senki”!
