Things are getting rather messy for the psychic named Kusou Saiki, and now, he even has his own live-action film. Now, MaidigiTV has revealed a brand new trailer for the upcoming live-action The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. film. It features the theme song, “Koi, Hajikemashita” by musical duo, Yuzu.

The video also introduces the film’s cast, which includes Kento Yamazaki as the titular psychic high school student. He played lead roles from Orange, Your Lie in April, and of course, One Week Friends. The film also stars live-action Gintama’s Kanna Hashimoto as Kokomi Teruhashi. Hirofumi Arai from the live-action Bakuman film will also star in this one as Riki Nendou.

Renowned Japanese comedy film director, Yuuichi Fukiuda, who also worked with Hashimoto in Gintama, will direct the film. The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. premieres in Japan 21 October 2017. It follows the daily life of a psychic high school student named Kusou Saiki, whose powers cause him problems.
