The ever-popular Japanese girl group, Perfume, recently graced the cover of issue#40 of Weekly Big Comic Spirits magazine. The magazine also featured a special manga about the trio, as well as several Perfume manga illustrations. These illustrations include one by Tokusatsu Gagaga mangaka, Niwa Tanba. The mangaka features the members of Perfume as… well… perfume bottles.

Well, I guess that was “pun intended”, right?

Several other popular mangaka also shared their own personal artworks of the trio. This includes Ushio & Tora’s Kazuhiro Fujita and Ushijima the Loan Shark’s Shohei Manabe. As for the Perfume manga itself, Kremlin mangaka, Kaoru Curry-zawa illustrated it for the magazine.

And as for Perfume themselves, Yuka Kashino (Kashiyuka), Ayaka Nishikawa (A-chan), and Ayano Oomoto (Nocchi) comprise the group. They also previously admitted that they’re huge fans of manga such as Chihayafuru. In fact, they got to meet its mangaka because they performed the live-action films’ theme song, “FLASH”. And for this month, they will also be releasing their latest single this 30th August titled “If you wanna”.
