Tokyo Game Show (TGS) marks Japans biggest gaming event, and the world’s 3rd largest event of the same type, behind E3 and Gamescom. Unlike E3 and Gamescom, where Western companies take center-stage, TGS heavily features games and companies from the Land of the Rising Sun.

Here is a sneak preview of what to expect if you are heading down to the event.

Playstation:

2017 PlayStation Press Conference in Japan

Rivaled only by Nintendo in its popularity in Japan, Sony’s Playstation owns a lion share of the home console market in Japan. Having announced a special edition PS4 for Final Fantasy XV, and a release date for one of the hottest games of 2017, Nioh, Sony’s pre-TGS conference will be met with high expectations.

The conference will be held on the 19th of September, at 15:00 SGT, and will be streamed live on YouTube.

Konami:
