After announcing the Overlord TV anime’s second season last March, fans have eagerly awaited for more details. Now, as the 12th volume of Kugane Maruyama’s Overlord novel series hits the shelves in Japan, it also makes an announcement about the second season.
According to the volume’s jacket cover, Season 2 will be premiering sometime in winter 2018. It also reveals that Madhouse will once again animate the series for this second season. Volume 12 ships out in Japan on 30th September.
