AnimationZ is an Anime song DJ team by active animation producers formed around Tomotaka Misawa, an animation producer who started activities since 2017. Activities are performed in layers different from other Anime song DJs such as animation songs with many hit songs and DJ play specialized for game music, such as being able to officially use music and video of animation. In addition, engaging in a comprehensive animation event planning not only for DJ players, such as collaborating with the audience at the oversea anime event and DJ activities and each animation record company and animation maker.

AnimationZ members are: Tomotaka Misawa (Animation Producer and Team Representative), Yukihiko Nakao (Animation Producer), Saya Fukase (Animation Producer), Kazuki Yanase (Animation Producer), Takanori Yamaura (Animation Producer), Ryoma Araki (Game Producer), and Taketeru Sunamori (Music Producer / Screenwriter).

Tomotaka Misawa

Tomotaka Misawa was born in 1980 in Saitama City (formerly Saitama Urawa). He has done movie, TV, animation, drama, CM, corporate VP, variety shows, music programs, music clips, and production of video works of all genres as a video production producer. In recent years he has also done planning and production for the movie “Gothic & Lolita Psycho” and “High Tension ☆ Please”.

In September 2011, he was part of the movie “Assassin” which became a hot topic among overseas buyers in the film market at Cannes, France. They subsequently help screenings in Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, and other Asian countries, as well as limited releases in North America and Europe.

From April 2015, he has participated in projects by Saitama Television other broadcasting stations. He is currently planning and producing the local animme of Urawa called “Urawa no Usagi-chan. It has been awarded the “Community Business Award” at the Saitama City New Business Award 2014. In recent years, he has also gained a recent following as an animation song DJ.

Taketeru Sunamori

Taketeru Sunamori is a composer and author from Japan. He was born in 1983, and earned a BA in Philosophy from the prestigious Kyoto University, as well as an MA in Musicology from the equally prestigious Tokyo University of the Arts. In 2009, He presented his first sound novel movie on Niconico Douga as indie creator, and became the first generation of “Net Creator” in Japan. In 2013, He released the first major-label album “Kakusei Love Survivor” from the famous anime label, FLYING DOG.

He wrote same titled novel as author with this album, and this novel was published by KADOKAWA DENGEKI, the most famous publisher in the light-novel genre. After that, he is known as double-jobbing creator, as a composer and as a novelist. Recently, he composed game music, including Square-Enix’s smash hit game “Grimmsnotes”.
