C3 AFA Singapore 2017 brings another exclusive to fans of anime, cosplay, and anisong in South East Asia! Slated for the 24th to the 26th of November 2017 at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, check out the special stage for a brand new anime airing in Japan in January 2018! Voice actor Yusuke Kobayashi is in town for the action-packed anime Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens!

Hakata is a city where 3% of the population are assassins. On the surface it looks like a peaceful tourist city in Fukuoka. However, on the underside, it’s an area where assassins are fighting each other, as crime spreads. Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens is a story is centred on these people, with their own peculiar quirks: a first-year assassin on the fringes of society, an assassin hired by politicians, an information broker that’s a hacking genius, a beautiful person out for revenge, a wannabe mercenary serving as an interrogator, a private detective that loves Hakata, and an assassin trapped by a shadowy organization.

Yusuke Kobayashi was born in Tokyo, and spent part of his childhood in the UK. He made in debut in 2013, with a role in A Certain Scientific Railgun S, and secured his first main character role in 2014’s Witchcraft Works. In 2017, he received the Best New Actor Award at the 11th Seiyu Awards. Some of his works include: Arslan from The Heroic Legend of Arslan, Subaru Natsuki from Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World, Itsuki Hashima from A Sister’s All You Need, Zenji Marui from Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma, Yuu Haruna from Fuuka, and Honoka Takamiya from Witchcraft Works.
