After several hit songs together, it looks like vocalist Mayu is leaving MYTH & ROID. The band’s official website revealed that Mayu will “graduate” from the group to pursue a solo career.

The vocalist is one of the group’s founding members, and has performed various anisongs. These include the OPs for Re:Zero, as well as Saga of Tanya the Evil. She also provided vocals for the ED songs for Overlord and BBK/BRNK. She founded the group along with composer and producer Tom-H@ck and lyricist hotaru. They also released their first album together last April, and its title is eYe’s.

A new vocalist, KIHOW, joined the group earlier this year and will be replacing Mayu. Co-founder Tom-H@ck met with her earlier this year and welcomed her to join MYTH & ROID.
