Tekken 7 has previously added characters from other fighting game franchises, such as Akuma and Geese Howard. But now, it seems like for the first time in history, they are crossing over with a certain JRPG from Square Enix. This is because Noctis Lucis Caelum from Final Fantasy XV is entering the King of the Iron Fist Tournament.

Noctis will be bringing his Engine Blade to the fight, and he will certainly be a tough opponent. This young king will also have his own map as well, complete with Chocobos! The reveal trailer also teases some of this new playable character’s gameplay, as he goes up against a few Tekken favorites.

Bandai Namco Entertainment, which certainly shocked fans with the reveal, will release Noctis as a DLC in spring 2018. As for Tekken 7 itself, fans can now play the fighting game for the PS4, Xbox ONE, and PC (via Steam).
