The new film continues where the previous Conan film left off. This time, an explosion rocks the Tokyo Summit’s giant Edge of Ocean facility. After the explosion, people see the silhouette of Tooru Amuro, and the police get into a scramble to find the suspects. They then arrest Kogorou Mori, but Conan says he’s innocent. Now, he and his friends need to uncover the mystery behind the explosion, and prove the innocence of Ran’s father.

Yuzuru Tachikawa (Mob Psycho 100) will be directing this new film. It will also center on Tooru Amuro’s character, who works for the National Police Agency Security Bureau as Zero. It will premiere in Japan on 13th April 2018.
