C3 AFA starts the new year right with C3 AFA Hong Kong 2018! Slated for the 9th until the 11th of February 2018, the event will also play host to the first ever I Love Anisong Hong Kong concert! We’re pretty sure you’re excited to find out the artiste line up, so without further ado, meet the first artiste fhána!
fhána is a 4-member music group consisting of music producers Junichi Sato, yuxuki waga, kevin mitsunaga, and vocalist towana. The group made their major debut in August 2013 with the song “Que Sera Sera”, which was the ending song for the anime “Uchouten Kazoku”. In the succeeding year, fhána was awarded the「NEW ARTISTS 2014」prize by iTunes, as the most-anticipated newcomer artiste of that year.
fhána’s sixth single “Wonder Stella” was released in August 2015; the song is used as the opening theme to the TV anime series “Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya 2wei Herz!”. fhána’s ninth single “Calling” was released in August 2016; the song was the ending theme song to of the “Tales of Zestiria the X” anime.
The band’s tenth single “Aozora no Rhapsody” was released in January 2017 and was the theme song of the highly popular “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid”. In April 2017, the group released their new song Moon River which was also the ending song for the latest season of series “Uchouten Kazoku”.
Besides producing music, fhána also actively does live performances all over Japan, as well as overseas. They were very recently at C3 AFA Indonesia, so we hope their fans come by and give them a big Hong Kong welcome as well!
