Before we get to the upcoming Full Metal Panic Invisible Victory anime later this year, we are getting the third and final Full Metal Panic Director’s Cut compilation film, “Into the Blue”. And with the anime opening in a few days, the staff have revealed a brand new teaser trailer for the film.

The new teaser not only teases the film’s story, but its theme song as well. Tamaru Yamada performs it, and it’s titled “Kimi wa Tomodachi Ichiban no Koi ~way to love you~“.

The Director’s Cut film trilogy features scenes from the previous Full Metal Panic anime seasons. However, since this is a Director’s Cut, it also adds a few scenes not found in the previous TV anime. The first film, “Boy meets Girl,” premiered last November, while the second film, “One Night Stand,” opened last weekend. Finally, the third and final film, “Into the Blue,” will premiere on 20th January.

As for the fourth TV anime, Full Metal Panic IV: Invisible Victory will premiere next season, in spring 2018. XEBEC will be taking over the animation production for the new series.
