Renowned Japanese mangaka, Hiro Mashima (Rave Master, Fairy Tail), recently visited France to attend the Angoulême Festival. The festival has exhibited his work from 25th-28th January, but it seems he’s not going home empty-handed. This is because French Culture Minister Françoise Nyssen awarded the mangaka with the Fauve Special Award.

The exhibition not only features artwork by Mashima, but also a Natsu statue, as well as an Erza costume set. The mangaka even got to meet a few of his European fans over in France. They also have a booth where fans can try their hand at drawing like the mangaka himself.

The exhibition features more than 100 drawings and 50 manuscripts, which no Fairy Tail fan could miss.
