Saga of Tanya the Evil will be having its own anime film. However, unlike previously reported, it turns out that this new film is a sequel and not a compilation. Now, the anime’s official website has updated, and reveals the anime’s new teaser trailer, as well as its new visual.

The light novel’s illustrator, Shinobu Shinotsuki, provided the anime’s bloody new visual. As for the film itself, Newtype Magazine’s interview with director Yutaka Uemura will confirm a few details. It will also confirm that Studio NuT will be animating the project. As for the cast, Aoi Yuuki (Tanya) and Saori Hayami (Visha) will both be reprising their respective roles for the film.

In an advance look at the interview, Uemura stated that he watched the Hollywood World War II film, Dunkirk. He said that he will be taking inspiration from the film himself. He also revealed that the film will be focusing on Tanya’s relationship with her country’s top brass. Expect that the staff will also announce more details about the film soon.
