Being a seiyuu is tough, and that also means having to deal with all sorts of fans. One of these fans is 32-year old Hidehiko Yokeyama, who is a member of Ayana Taketatsu’s fanclub. However, it seems that the self-proclaimed fanclub leader turned on the seiyuu he once idolised and threatened her via email.

Yokoyama allegedly sent the K-On seiyuu an email saying that she’s been too full of herself lately. He also added that he cannot forgive her and told her to die. He allegedly sent the threatening email from a manga cafe in Kakegawa City, Shizuoka on 14th July last year. Now, the police have captured him, and he admitted to the charges.

The police also reported that Ayana Taketatsu’s agency has received around 7,000 threats directed at the seiyuu since 2014. They then added that they will investigate further if Yokoyama has any connection to these other threats.

As for the seiyuu herself, she made a name for herself voicing Azusa Nakano in K-On!. She also voiced Kirino in OreImo, as well as Hotaru Shidare in Dagashi Kashi.
