Pop Team Epic is finally here, and as expected, it’s now melting people’s brains. The anime is making people confused, and even its staff can’t make up their minds what it is exactly. The anime describes itself as a “Crappy Anime,” and it features a new OP by Sumire Uesaka. Now, the seiyuu has released a new music video for the anime’s OP song. But don’t worry, it won’t melt your brain… maybe.

Well, it certainly is surreal, but not as much as the anime itself, or the source manga by Bkub Okawa. They will release three versions of the song as singles, and each will also come with its own cover artwork. Finally, they will then release all three versions on 31st January 2018.

Pop Team Epic follows the adventures (?) Popuko and Pipimi, though viewers might not understand what’s happening. If someone understands it, please tell us, because we have no idea what’s going on with Pop Team Epic.
