The Ikebukuro Parco department store in Tokyo will be holding the “Ikebo x Shojo Manga Genga-ten” exhibit by Cheese Magazine. It will feature illustrations from all of the magazine’s mangaka, as well as something which a few ladies might like. Yes ladies, you may get the chance to experience what it’s like to go an a date with a seiyuu… kinda.

The exhibit will have “date-style voice guides” with recordings from several popular seiyuu. There will actually be seven seiyuu participating, but so far, they only revealed Kenichi Suzumura, Ryusei Nakao, and Shouta Aoi. The experience will simulate a date with one of the seven popular seiyuu, as one goes through the exhibition.

However, you may not get the seiyuu you want for that day. This is because the staff will change up the voice guide every day. They are doing this to make fans want to return everyday in order to go on a date with a different seiyuu. In fact, those who get to go on a date with all seven seiyuu will get the chance to win an exclusive autograph board which all seven of them signed.

As a fan goes on that “date” with a seiyuu, they will get to see 700 manga illustrations, as well as a manga reading corner. The first guests to arrive will also get a one-chapter “special comics” for the various manga on display.
