American entertainment website, The Hollywood Reporter, has reported that Paramount Pictures is planning to do a Sonic the Hedgehog film. Based on the classic SEGA video game, the Sonic film will hit theatres on 15th November 2019.

The report also stated that Neal H. Moritz is producing the project, with Deadpool director Tim Miller executive producing. They also listed Toby Ascher as an executive producers, while Dmitri Johnson and Dan Jevons will serve as co-producers. The Hollywood Reporter also revealed that Jeff Fowler will be making his directorial debut for the film.

As for what type of film it will be, Paramount is planning that it would be a mix of live-action and CGI animation. It seems that they will be revealing more details on this film project soon enough.
