Kadokawa has recently teamed up with Japanese seiyuu talent agency, Production Ace. They are currently looking for aspiring new seiyuu who can actually sing, and have her star in a new Kadokawa anime. The “First Prize Winner” will get free acting, singing and dancing lessons before starring in the new anime.

Aspiring seiyuu have to be 14-18 years of age, but must also be Japanese residents. Kadokawa producer Takashi Tatezaki says that they’re looking for individuals with passion, resolution, and ambition, as well as guts and physical strength. He also says that these aspiring seiyuu must aim to be famous with this new anime. He then added that those who want the job must be willing to do everything for it.

Kadokawa and Production Ace are now accepting applications, but they’re only doing so until 28th February. They will then hold the first examination on 3rd March, before a second examination on 1st April. Finally, they will then choose a winner sometime in June of this year. Interested applicants can send their applications here, but remember that it’s only open for teens and Japanese residents.
