Ranma 1/2 and Urusei Yatsura mangaka, Rumiko Takahashi, definitely ain’t a stranger when it comes to the supernatural. After all, she also created Kyoukai no Rinne and of course, InuYasha. Now, it seems like the legendary mangaka is having a new work, and this time, it will be a horror manga.

The new manga’s title is “Nanimonai Heya”, or Empty Apartment, and it will be a One-Shot. Shogakukan’s Big Comic magazine will be publishing the new work, and its release will be on 24th February.

The manga will follow a woman who is trying to change her life and turn over a new leaf. To do this, she moves into a new home, which is an apartment. However, it seems that her new place has a dark history, which involves suicides and accidental deaths.

Aside from Rinne, InuYasha, Ranma 1/2, and Urusei Yatsura, Takahashi also created other great works. This includes Maison Ikkoku and One Pound Gospel, as well as Mermaid Saga. She also got nominated to the Eisner Hall of Fame plenty of times as well.
