Through the past few years, Netflix has slowly been spreading its influence in Japan, from live-action shows to anime. The global streaming site has also partnered up with several anime studios and live-action productions in the country. They are also gaining a reputation worldwide as an anime distributor. And now, they’ve taken over Shinjuku Station as 250 pairs of anime eyes look at passers-by.

Netflix is currently showing a wide selection of anime, including popular titles like Little Witch Academia, Violet Evergarden, Kakegurui, and Fate/Apocrypha. They also stream non-Netflix exclusives such as My Hero Academia, Pop Team Epic, Haikyuu, and many more. The 250 pairs of anime eyes come from these anime from their streaming library. The biggest eyes in the mural come from Netflix exclusives, Devilman Crybaby and the upcoming B: The beginning anime.

The campaign also has a special treat for those passers-by who snap a photo of the wall mural. This is because if they display and share it on social media, they will win a free sticker. The promo will run until 4th March 2018.
