For more than two decades now, Rumiko Takahashi’s Ranma 1/2 has entertained fans both young and old. Now, the Ranma 1/2 Cafe has opened in Tokyo, and it doesn’t just give fans a nostalgic feel, but free food as well. Recently, the cafe hosted people who might know more about the franchise than any other. This is because creator Rumiko Takahashi stopped by the Ranma 1/2 cafe, and she brought the anime’s voice cast along.

image via Noriko Hidaka, from left to right, are Megumi Hayashibara (female Ranma), Noriko Hidaka (Akane), Kappei Yamaguchi (male Ranma), Rei Sakuma (Shampoo), and Naoko Matsui (Azusa). Front row, left to right: are Ryusuke Obayashi (Soun), Rumiko Takahashi, and Kenichi Ogata (Genma)

The group seems to have a lot of fun reminiscing about the old days too! Noriko Hidaka and Kappei Yamagushi even recreated a few of their poses with some of the exhibits.

Akane’s seiyuu also posed with a large picture of her character. Akane, meet Akane…

And if that’s not enough, Male Ranma also posted this picture of him and his Akane together wearing matching jackets…

Even Shampoo’s seiyuu, Rei Sakuma, got in on the act. She even carried around her character’s signature ramen delivery box from Neko Cafe.

The other seiyuu seem to be having fun as well.

In the end, they all autographed a huge wall art to commemorate their visit.

And if you want to visit the Ranma 1/2 Cafe, better head to Ikebukuro Parco’s The Guest Restaurant. However, you better get there before 25th February, because they’re only offering it for a limited time.
