The “Hatsune Miku Symphony 2017” event blended classical orchestra with more modern vocaloid songs. TheĀ Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as theĀ Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, even got involved in the event. And now,Ā Warner Music Japan will be releasing a Blu-ray version of the concert. And to help promote it, they released a clip of the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra performing the vocaloid song, “Sakura no Ame”.

As the video shows, an entire voice choir accompanied Miku in the song, which makes it a bit more magical. They will release Blu-ray, 2CD_DVD, and 2CD versions of the concert on 7th March 2018.

The orchestra celebrates Miku’s 10th birthday, and they held it twice last year. TheĀ Festival Hall in Osaka hosted it with the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra last 17th November for the first performance. TheĀ Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra then took over at the Tokyo International Forum Hall A a few days later, on 29th November. They will also hold another orchestral concert, this time at the Pacifico Yokohama on 24th November 2018. The Miku Symphony orchestra will also perform at the Orix Theatre in Osaka next year, on 25th January.
