After over a decade of waiting, delays, and setbacks, we now have an exact release date for Full Metal Panic IV: Invisible Victory. In other words, this is not a drill people, this is not a drill! The latest season of Full Metal Panic will really be happening next month!

According to the anime’s official twitter page, the anime will make its long-awaited premiere on 13th April 2018. Of course, this eases the fear of the anime getting delayed again as we finally have an exact date.

The anime will premiere via AT-X at around 8:30pm JST, and also in other networks a bit later. The staff originally announced the anime for autumn of last year, but delayed it to spring of 2018. Fans have already waited over a decade for a new Full Metal Panic TV anime, so the delayed just added to their frustrations.

The twitter page also revealed new details about the franchise’s upcoming “Operation Able” album CD. It revealed its jacket illustrations, as well as revealing that it will get its release on 9th May. It will feature various songs from the franchise, including FMP IV’s OP and ED songs. Tamaru Yamada will be performing both songs, the OP song “Even…if”, as well as the ED song, “yes”. The album will also include songs from the 3-part Director’s cut films and the “Who Dares Wins” PlayStation 4 game.

Now, who is excited for the new FMP anime? Because we surely are!
