During Fuji TV’s recent Plus Ultra livestream, they made several big announcements. This includes one regarding the hit zombie survival anime, Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, which is also getting an anime film. Titled Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress: Unato Kessen, the film will serve as a direct sequel to the popular TV anime. They also revealed several concept images from the film, as well as its key visual:

And not only that, but they have now also released the film’s announcement video as well:

Tetsuro Araki will once again direct the anime, with WiT Studio also returning for animation production. The TV anime’s surviving cast members will also be reprising their roles for the film as well.
