Many consider Masashi Kishimoto as one of the biggest mangaka in Japan. And during a new project presentation, Weekly Shonen Jump magazine editor-in-chief Hiroyuki Nakano revealed new details about the mangaka’s return. Specifically, this is his first non-Naruto title since finishing the now-classic shonen ninja manga.

Nakano says that instead of it being a one-shot as previously announced, Kishimoto’s new manga will be a serialisation. He also confirmed that this new manga is now in progress. This means that Kishimoto has now started working on it so we better expect it to come out soon enough.

However, the editor-in-chief didn’t reveal much about this new work. He didn’t even reveal its title, or even its setting and what it will be about. However, back in 2015, Kishimoto did admit that he wants to do a science fiction story. Looks like we’ll be finding more about this new serialisation in the days ahead, so stay tuned.

So, what do you guys think this new manga will all be about?
