Japanese online retailer, Rakuten, recently revealed the cover for the May issue of Lala Magazine. Now, that cover is very special, as it not only features a Natsume’s Book of Friends cover, but also reveals new details on its upcoming film.

According to the cover, the Natsume’s Book of Friends film will premiere on 29 September 2018 in Japan. The magazine, as well as the film’s staff, will be revealing more details about it in the days ahead.

Previously, the staff confirmed that Hiroshi Kamiya will be reprising his role as Takashi Natsume. Meanwhile, Kazuhiko Inoue will also be returning as Madara/Nyanko-sensei. As for its animation, studio Shuka will once again be animating the project, much like the previous TV anime seasons.
