Japanese pop culture fans in the region are in for a special treat as Sakura Matsuri: Anime Garden brings the best of Japan to Singapore on the 17 and 18th of March 2018! Get ready for a fantastic weekend surrounded by beautiful sakura flowers and exciting Japanese entertainment! For anisong fans, it’s a truly amazing event with a free concert headlined by some of the biggest names in anisong! We’re continuing with the fabulous artiste announcements with the lovely Luna Haruna!

Luna Haruna got her start as a fashion model for Harajuku street style magazine Kera and Japanese department style Marui, when the meteoric rise of her musical career eclipsed her modelling. Her debut single “Sora wa Takaku Kaze wa Utau” became the second ending theme of the TV anime “Fate/Zero”.

Her sophomore attempt “Overfly” was equally successful, having been selected as the second end theme of “Sword Art Online”. “Overfly” marked the start of Luna’s long association with the “Sword Art Online” franchise, as her singles “Startear” and “Yoru no Niji wo Koete” became the theme songs of “Sword Art Online II” and the “Sword Art Online: Lost Song” game respectively. Her ninth single “Windia” served as opening theme of another game “Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization”, while her collaboration with renowned Japanese singer KOTOKO entitled “SxW -Soul World-” became the theme song of “Accel World VS Sword Art Online: Millennium Twilight”.
