Celebrating their fifteenth year on the Japanese pop music scene, anisong duo angela will be releasing a new Best of album (title currently undecided) in fall of 2018. Their 15th anniversary year will also be capped by a special concert on the 27th of October 2018 at the Hibiya Open Air Concert Hall. Tentatively called “angela LIVE 2018 All Time Best at Hibiya Open Air Concert Hall”, additional information will be released soon.
angela is a much beloved Japanese pop duo, best known for their collaborations with anime series Fafner in the Azure, Knights of Sidonia, and Aho-girl. angela is composed of vocalist atsuko and composer/keyboardist KATSU. Due to the prevalence of female vocalist and male keyboardist duos on the anisong scene — such as compatriots fripSide and GARNiDELiA, angela sometimes introduce themselves using the wrong group names at live concerts.
