Hakusensha’s Bessatsu Hana to Yume — sister publication to fortnightly Hana to Yume, will cease its publication with its July 2018 issue, out today 25th May 2018. Bessatsu Hana to Yume was instrumental in launching the careers of shoujo manga luminaries Suzue Miuchi (“Glass Mask”) and Mineo Maya (“Patarillo”). The magazine had been in print for over forty years.

Current series still being serialized on the comic will move to other publications, as well as online. Saki Hiwatari’s “Boku wa Chikyuu to Utua” will move to Hakusensha’s Melody, starting with the October issue, out 28th August 2018.

Emura’s “Wonder Honey”, Rei Izawa’s “Hyaku Hana Mangekyou”, Hisaya Nakajo’s “Momomomotto!”, Shigeyoshi Takagi’s “Kyokkei Gakuen”, Kou Matsuzuki’s “Houkago Sensei to.”, Koyomi Minamori’s “Sekai wa Kyou mo Mawatteru”, Naomi Yamauchi “Ochikubo” will move to Hakusensha’s Manga Park app. The final chapter of Masumi Kawasou’s “Touring Express EURO” will also be published on the Manga Park app in June.

Nanpei Yamada, Shigeru Takao, Ritsu Miyako, and Banko Kuze will be planning new titles for serialization on the web manga magazine “Hana Yume Ai”, to be published this fall. Narise Konohara and Marimo Ragawa’s “Kyuuketsuki to Yukai na Nakamatachi” is slated to restart serialization in spring 2019.
