Composed of members Clara and Karen, their unit name ClariS refers to a Latin word meaning “bright”, “clean”, and “glorious”. ClariS first debuted in 2010, and have since skyrocketed in popularity thanks to their numerous anime collaborations, including “Ore no Imōto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai”, “Puella Magi Madoka Magica”, “Nisemonogatari”, “Nisekoi”, and “Eromanga Sensei”.

“Hataraku Saibou” (aka “Cells at Work”) is an anime adaptation of the manga series written and illustrated by Akane Shimizu. It features anthromorphized versions of human cells as they go about their everyday business: keeping the human body functioning, and fighting against outside invaders such as bacteria and viruses. The series will premier in July 2018.
