Exclusive Japanese supercar maker Mitsuoka will be releasing a special edition DEVILMAN crybaby Orochi, the only one in the world. Inspired by the recent incarnation of the hit manga DEVILMAN released worldwide via Netflix, the DEVILMAN crybaby Orochi will be modeled after the car driven by one of the series leads Ryo Asuka.

Another Mistuoka supercar also makes an appearance in the show: DEVILMAN crybaby antagonist Kaim drives a Mitsuoka Ryugi in one of the episodes. With both DEVILMAN and Mitsuoka celebrating their 50th Anniversary, this collaboration is something to look out for by anime fans with very deep pockets.

Interestingly enough, this was not the first time the Japanese car atelier has tied up with a major anime franchise. The company also sold a special edition Evangelion Orochi in 2014, which you could only purchase if you won the balloting held by 7-11 Japan. Supposedly the final production run for the Orochi, it looks like they couldn’t resist havong another go for Go Nagai’s sake.
