The official Twitter account of the upcoming Free! Dive to the Future anime series has made a huge announcement today, 7th May 2018! They not only released the trailer of the highly anticipated new series, but also announced the upcoming cast list! Without further ado, check out the new and returning characters much the much beloved swimming series!

The new series continues the story of Haruka Nanase, who is now in enrolled in a university in Tokyo to continue pursuing his dreams of competitive swimming. He is joined in Tokyo by his swim teammate and childhood friend Makoto Tachibana, and they both keep tabs on their good friend Rin Matsuoka.
While in Tokyo, Haru and Makoto once again encounter their middle school rivals Asahi Shiina and Ikuya Kirishima (from the prequel film “High Speed! -Free! Starting Days-“). The future and the past collide in an exciting new series that Free! fans are sure to love! Season starts July 2018!
