Late last year, it was announced that Kouhei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia would be getting a game, and today we finally have a release date. Bandai Namco announced via their official twitter account, that the game will ship for SONY’s Playstation 4, and Nintendo’s hybrid Switch systems in Japan on August 23.

Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia will see the game released on Playstation 4, and PC later this year. And western shores will see the game released on a further 2 consoles, the Switch and the XBox One this year as well.

The game’s current roster includes, Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugō, All Might, Tomura Shigaraki, Ochaco Uraraka, Tenya Iida, Shōto Todoroki, Momo Yaoyorozu, Denki Kaminari, Tsuyu Asui, Stain, Shōta Aizawa/Eraser Hea, Fumikage Tokoyami, Kyōka Jirō, and Eijirō Kirishima.

This is not the first game My Hero Academia has featured in, however, with My Hero Academia: Battle for All released in May 2016 for the 3DS, and My Hero Academia: Smash Tap released for smartphone devices last year.
