Voice actress Hisako Kanemoto announced yesterday via her personal blog that she intends to take a gap year from her seiyuu work to study overseas. In the blog entry, she also thanks her fans for their support so far, and informed every one of her intended return in March of 2019.
Hisako Kanemoto is best known for her roles as Tsugumi Hazawa from BanG Dream! Girls Band Party, Archer Inferno from Fate/Grand Order, Djeeta from Granblue Fantasy: The Animation, and Erina Nakiri from Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma. It is interesting to note that Kanemoto herself was a replacement for the role of Erina, when the original seiyuu Risa Taneda also went on hiatus to recover from illness.
