Ken Akamatsu’s “Mahou Sensei Negima!” was serialized in Weekly Shounen Magazine from 2003 to 2012, with two animated adaptations by Xebec (Negima!) and Shaft (Negima?!). The plot centers around 10-year-old Negi Springfield, a Welsh child prodigy and wizard-in-training, who is sent to teach English in a Japanese high school. There he has to guide his class of 31 girls, as well as protect them from evil forces who choose to harm them with magic.
