Via Animate Times: “Dennou Coil” screenwriter and director Mitsuo Iso is working on an all-new series entitled “Chikyuugai Shounen Shoujo” (Extraterrestrial Boys & Girls). The announcement was made recently at Anime Central in Chicago, USA. Character designs for “Chikyuugai Shounen Shoujo” will be by Kenichi Yoshida, best known for his work on “Eureka Seven”.
The story of “Chikyuugai Shounen Shoujo” will revolve around a group of children stranded on an Earth-orbiting satellite after a massive accident. Relying only on each other, they use their knowledge of social media, low-level AI, and drone piloting to survive in the cold, dark, inhospitable vacuum of space.
