ONE PIECE has made a tradition of airing special episodes during the Japanese summer break, with Episode of Luffy and Episode of Nami in 2012, Episode of Merry in 2013, Episode of Sabo in 2015, and Episode of East Blue in 2017.
This year, ONE PIECE Episode of Skypeia is scheduled to air on Fuji TV on 25th August 2018 from 21:00 to 23:10! The episode will be the first covering the Sorajima (Skypeia) arc, and will have a new character who did not appear in the Skypeia arc of the anime series.
The trailer for the special episode was released yesterday evening, during the Fuji TV broadcast of ONE PIECE FILM GOLD. ONE PIECE fans in Japan have a lot to look forward to this summer, and hopefully overseas fans get an official release very soon!
