Via Comic Natalie: CAPCOM teams up with Kyoto-based traditional clothing maker Nishizen Corporation to launch a series of “Sengoku BASARA” characters-inspired formal kimono set for men.

The set consist of a kimono-gi top, a pair of pleated hakama-pants and an overlaying haori-jacket – the standard 3-pieces ensemble in traditional Japanese formal men’s wear. These are worn in formal ceremonies like Passing of Age Day, weddings and graduations, etc.

The designs are based off the images of six of the game’s characters:

The formal wear are priced at JPY 68,000 onwards per set and distribution for sales or rental will start in early-July 2018 – in time with the broadcasting commencement of Sengoku BASARA’s parody high-school anime “Gakuen BASARA”.
