Some bands are big one minute and gone in the next, while some linger in our memories until infinity. This Japanese pop-rock group is one of them, as they have been together for well over a decade, and are still as fresh in the minds of fans — yes, it’s Do as Infinity!

Do As Infinity is a Japanese pop and rock band formed in 1999 with three members: vocalist Tomiko Van, guitarist Ryo Owatari, and guitarist and composer Dai Nagao. Their debut single “Tangerine Dream” was released under Avex Trax. On 25 November 2005, the group had disbanded, but after a three-year hiatus, on 29 September 2008, Do As Infinity reformed without Nagao.

In 2017, they released their 29th single “Alive/Iron Hornet”. In July, Do As Infinity went on their first Latin America tour across four different countries. In August, they held a full-house one-man live in Taiwan successfully. In September, they played their first ever concert in Singapore to a sold out audience.

Do as Infinity is best known for singing the theme songs for various hit anime, such as InuYasha’s ending theme song “Fukai Mori”, Fairy Tail’s opening theme song “Mysterious Magic”, and Juuni Taisen’s ending theme song “Keshin no kemono”. They also have a special place in the hearts of regional fans, as their fourth single “Yesterday & Today” was the theme song for “Nisennen no Koi” — the first ever drama to be simulcast in Japan and Singapore.

Do as Infinity is back in Singapore for another round of rocking hits and memorable tunes! They will be at Natsu Rock at Zepp@BIGBOX in Jurong East on Friday, 22nd June 2018. Tickets are still available so grab yours today!
