After Microsoft and Sony have had their say, Nintendo took to the stage to run their annual E3 direct. Without further ado let’s see what they have in store for us in the coming months shall we?

Damon X Machina

Kicking things off, we had a high intensity track to announce Nintendo’s new IP, a Mech game, Demon X Machina. From the footage, we can see that the game would consist of massive flight and ground battles.  We can expect this game to be released in 2019 for the Nintendo Switch.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna~ The Golden Country

Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna~ The Golden Country will act as a prelude to the main story in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. As players ‘Guide a group of legendary warriors on a journey through the tragic history that doomed a kingdom and drove a hero down a dark path 500 years before the events of the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 game.’ The game will be available on September 21st, with the option of getting it as a stand alone or as part of the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Expansion pass.

Pokemon: Let’s Go!

We got some new info regarding the new Pokemon game. Nintendo confirmed that the game would be fully playable with the Pokeball plus. Also, you’ll be able to bring your Pokemon with you. The Pokeball plus will also come with a free Pokemon! The legendary, Mew who will join you through the game. Pokemon: Let’s Go Pikachu!, Pokemon: Let’s Go Eevee!, and the Pokeball plus will be available on the 16th of November 2018.

Super Mario Party

Super Mario Party returns with a whole new set of game modes, and experiences for the Nintendo Switch. The trailer showed off the ability to essentially combine two Switches to make  a larger play area. The game will be available, October 5th 2018.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses 

We got a trailer for the new Fire Emblem game. The game features a whole new way to experience the game’s traditional turn based combat.

Fortnite

One of the biggest games of the year, Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode has made its way to the Switch. It’s free on the Nintendo eShop right now!

Overcooked 2

The sequel to Overcooked, Overcooked 2 is here to test your friendships and make sure you talk to your friend in a single session more than you have spoken to them all year. The new game comes with new abilities and map, and with the Switch, you can play over a local connection between multiple devices, or online. This frantic food juggler arrives August 7th 2018.

Killer Queen Black

If you’re looking to scratch that retro itch, this manic multiplayer game where you attempt to take out one another’s queens might just hit the right spots. New to this edition of the game, players can combine their forces to battle in groups of 4 against other hives. Coming 2018.

Hollow Knight

This awe inspiring platformer from Team Cherry kept me engaged for hours on end on the PC, and now it’s coming to the Switch. The hand drawn characters, beautiful soundtrack, and gripping combat is bound to keep you engaged.

Octopath Traveler

Announced at the last E3, Octopath traveller will be getting a new demo on June 14th, and the save game from this demo can be brought over to the main game when it gets released in July.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate

Boasting it’s biggest roster to date, Super Smash Bros brings together all the characters from previous smash games and adds a couple of new ones, like Ridley, and Inkling. The game will also feature new maps like Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. And the game will be released on December 7th 2018.
