With Microsoft taking the lead last night with their press conference at E3, it was time for Sony to take the stage. Starting out in a massive tent this year, Sony promised to bring us to church and boy did they deliver.

The Last of Us Part II

Sony kicked off their press showcase with a trailer showcasing a new trailer for The Last of Us 2, the one game I was looking forward to seeing the whole of E3. Partnered with a few minutes of gameplay, the game follows Ellie’s adventures as a young adult as she attempts to fight for her survival. Incorporating much of the stealth that defined the first game,  the Last of Us 2 is something I cannot wait to sink my teeth into.

After that the media were ushered into the main area for the rest of the showcase.
