With Microsoft taking the lead last night with their press conference at E3, it was time for Sony to take the stage. Starting out in a massive tent this year, Sony promised to bring us to church and boy did they deliver.

The Last of Us Part II

Sony kicked off their press showcase with a trailer showcasing a new trailer for The Last of Us 2, the one game I was looking forward to seeing the whole of E3. Partnered with a few minutes of gameplay, the game follows Ellie’s adventures as a young adult as she attempts to fight for her survival. Incorporating much of the stealth that defined the first game,  the Last of Us 2 is something I cannot wait to sink my teeth into.

After that the media were ushered into the main area for the rest of the showcase.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4

Showcasing the new Call of Duty game, Sony promised whole set of classic maps returning to Black Ops 3, and that the game would drop free for Playstation Plus members tonight.

From the studios that brought us Dark Souls, and Bloodborne, comes an experience unlike one they have showcased before. More artistic than bloody, this promises to be an interesting experience.
