“Darling in the FranXX” studio Trigger has announced that they will be releasing a game for their seminal title “KiLL la KiLL“! The game will be developed in collaboration with ARC SYSTEM WORKS, best known for creating the “Guilty Gear” and “BLAZBLUE” series.

“KiLL la KiLL” was first released in 2013 by Studio Trigger, directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi and written by Kazuki Nakashima of “Gurren Lagann” fame. It follows a troubled young girl Ryuko Matoi hunting down her father’s killer, which brings her to the attention of Satsuki Kiryuin, the strict student council president of their school Honnouji Academy.

ARC SYSTEM WORKS is a Japanese game developer best known for the super-stylish fighting games “Guilty Gear” and “BLAZBLUE”. This is not their first collaboration to create a game for an anime franchise, as they have also developed fighting games for “Dragoonball Z”, “Persona 4”, “First of the North Star” and “ONE PIECE”.
