The official cast photos for the upcoming play “The Seven Deadly Sins The Stage” have been officially released, and can we say they are so good we can’t wait for the actual theatrical run?! Led by stage actor Takeru Naya (Touken Ranbu) as Melodias and 乃木坂46 (NOGIZAKA46) member Minami Umezawa as Elizabeth, “The Seven Deadly Sins The Stage” will run from the 3rd to the 12th of August in Tokyo, and the 18th to the 20th of August in Osaka.
“The Seven Deadly Sins” focus on the Third Princess of Britannia Elizabeth, and her search for the legendary group of fighters known as the eponymous “Seven Deadly Sins”, to take back her family seat when its erstwhile protectors “The Holy Knights” staged a coup and took over the kingdom. Unbeknownst to her, her travelling companion — the barkeeper Meliodas, is actually the captain of the “Seven Deadly Sins”. Together, they recruit the former members of “The Seven Deadly Sins” to fight for Elizabeth’s cause, as well as clear their names of a crime they did not commit.
