To commemorate the broadcast-ending of TV Asahi’s Saturday-night hit office “BL” romance comedy series “Ossan’s Love” (Old Man’s Love), manga publisher Monthly Comic Gene announces a collaboration of its hit ‘BL’ (‘Beast’s Love’) comedy manga series “Koisuru Shirokuma” (The Polar Bear in Love) re-publication releases with specially illustrated manga volume covers based off “Ossan’s Love” digital-synergy advertisement key visuals that were put up throughout Tokyo Metro Subway’s Roppongi Station (West-Azabu directional exit) when the series was airing.
The four manga volumes with collaborative special-illustrated covers by the series’ creator – Koromo-sensei:
“Ossan’s Love” stars Kei Tanaka in the lead role; and is TV Asahi’s attempt at a break-through of Japan’s social stigma of ‘same-gender relationships’ through a comedic portrayal. Fans who are interested in the story may read up more here.
The DVD and Blu-ray box of the series is scheduled for release in October 2018.
